What you’ll be able to do
By the end, you can…
How it works
A tutor that meets you where you are
- Lessons that adapt to your levelEach of the 31 lessons is a hands-on tutorial you follow with Manus open: the goal, what you need first, numbered steps, copy-paste prompts written for creative work, a worked example and a checkpoint. The lessons adjust to how much you already know.
- An AI tutor you can ask anythingStuck on a connector scope, a Plan Mode edit or a brief that came back vague? Ask the tutor, typed or out loud, and it answers in the context of the lesson you're on.
- Quizzes and flashcards for each lessonShort quizzes and flashcards tied to each lesson help the important points stick: the safe settings, the stop points and the checks.
- Progress tracking and a certificateTrack your progress through the nine modules and get a certificate of completion when you finish.

Who it’s for
Made for you if…
Made for: Designers, photographers, editors and creative producers using Adobe tools to develop, refine and deliver visual assets
Photographers and retouchers
You want shoot prep, renaming, cataloguing, contact sheets and stock metadata done on a working copy, with every command approved and the originals untouched.
Designers and video editors
You want reference research, direction memos and merged client feedback handled for you, while the craft stays in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or Premiere Pro.
Creative producers
You turn briefs into shot lists, call sheets and asset records that track releases and permissions, and you need a clear approval point before anything reaches a client.
Freelancers presenting their work
You want case-study decks and portfolio sites built from your own exports and notes, previewed by you and published only after the client gives permission.
Questions
Good to know
Can Manus open or edit my Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere or Lightroom files?
No. As of October 28, 2026 Manus has no Adobe connector and no documented feature that opens PSD, AI, PRPROJ files or Lightroom catalogues. The course uses it for the work around the craft: briefs, research, file preparation, metadata, change logs and presentation. You finish the images in Adobe.
Does this course teach Photoshop or Lightroom technique?
No. It assumes you already deliver client work in at least one Adobe app. It also doesn't cover making final production imagery or video with Manus's built-in media models.
Which Manus plan do I need?
Free is enough to start, but its daily credits work only in Manus 2.0 Lite. Wide Research, slides and website deployment need Pro, which starts at $20 a month. Team starts at $20 per seat a month and is the plan to use for client work. Prices change, so check manus.im/pricing before you commit.
Do I need the desktop app?
Only for the shoot-preparation lessons. They use My Computer in the Manus desktop app (Studio), which runs on Windows or an Apple Silicon Mac. You'll also need a backed-up copy of the files you work on.
Can I use real client material while learning?
Use a practice job you're allowed to use: a sample or past brief, public reference links, and non-confidential images or low-resolution proxies, with no NDA material. Before you upload anything, confirm your employer's or client's position on cloud AI tools.
Is Manus owned by Meta?
Not anymore. Meta's purchase was blocked, and Manus said it resumed independent operations under its founding team on September 1, 2026. Any material that calls it part of Meta is out of date.
Is Manus available where I live?
Manus doesn't publish a list of supported countries, and access from mainland China has been blocked since mid-2025. Confirm at sign-up that Manus is offered where you are. The course doesn't cover ways around regional limits.
Are there any account requirements?
You must be 18 or older. You can sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft, or with email plus phone verification. The course shows you how to add a backup sign-in method.
